London is decidedly not burning.

London is, in fact, foggy. Quite foggy. And its easy to spot the tourists when walking around, a fate from which I am certainly not exempt. It certainly doesn't help to wave a map around and back-track upon discovering that one is walking in the wrong directions. We (a few people from my program and I) went to the Natural History Museum and it was almost like being at home, since everything was in English and there were so many accents and languages around that we were hardly noticeable. Its a really beautiful building, a new building in an old style and I became acquainted with all sorts of weird marine animals, none of which names I can recall. And now, post-hotel and shower I am drinking tea. In England. Very satisfying.

Overall, London is as gorgeous as I remember, even in a hazy, sleep-deprived state. Tomorrow we get to take a lovely 3-hour bus tour of the city, achieving true super-tourist status. How exciting!
